Tendingshen
The precursor to TendingShen was
born in Lampeter, Dyfed, Wales in 1982 as the Sunrise Natural
Healing Clinic. When Niki H. Bilton returned home to Canada
in 1999, she set up Le Brel Enterprises Inc., named after
a beloved home in France. Le Brel was incorporated as an
Ontario Education & Health
Care Provider, offering both clinical services and continuing
professional development events. Initially based in Windsor,
and with the addition of Julie Lawson, it re-located to Ridgeway,
Ontario in June 2006. The company changed its name to TendingShen
Inc. in September 2007.
TendingShen Corporation is
the US subsidiary of TendingShen Inc, based in Maryland since 2002 and now
also operating in Buffalo, New York since 2007.
TendingShen regularly runs continuing
education workshops and clinical events for acupuncturists
and other complementary or allopathic health care practitioners
in Canada (Ontario), in the US (primarily California, Maryland
and New York) and in Europe (including various UK locations).
TendingShen
offers consultations and treatments
in Five Element acupuncture
in its teaching clinics in
Fort Erie, St. Catharines and
Toronto Ontario, in Westminster,
MD and in Buffalo, NY. Niki
sees patients for regular treatments
and also offers consultations
at CTA, Warwickshire, UK.
TendingShen offers treatments and practitioner trainings in Rejuvanessence at
various North American locations.
TendingShen
is a Founder Sponsor of Ongiara
College of Acupuncture and
Moxibustion,
which opened its doors to
Canadian, American and International
students in September 2009,
offering a four academic
year Professional Diploma
program in Acupuncture and
Moxibustion.

| Trained at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Warwickshire,
England (1979-1988), Niki is a Master of Acupuncture and worked
for many years both as a lecturer and Dean of Studies at the College.
Niki has been teaching acupuncture students and running post-graduate
workshops for 20 years in North America and Europe. She has maintained
a private practice since 1982 and a consultancy service since 1989. |
